We are so excited to celebrate with y'all!

Hunter and I first met in middle school and were instantly close friends. I honestly would consider him my best guy friend. Ironically we both thought the other had friendzoned each other. In reality we were both crushing pretty hard. As life tends to do, when high-school started we kind of parted ways, but were always just as close anytime we saw each other. Then senior year, out of the blue, Hunter messaged me on Facebook asking if I wanted to go on a Walmart run with him. That was definitely one of the best things I ever said yes to, as it led to multiple other errands runs together to river trips to officially starting dating to meeting Matthew to almost three years of being together and then FINALLY to saying YES!!!

What was originally planned to be a friend's getaway to the Buffalo River ended up having to be rescheduled, we decided to make a family trip for Matthew's very first float trip. Well, that's what I thought was happening anyways. Obviously, Hunter had other plans. So, while I was in the raft with both of our moms and Matthew, Hunter was hiding a very special surprise in the canoe with him and Fisher and Donavin. Which he quickly realized was a bad idea (they were not the most stable), so he snuck over to Jade and had her hide in the kayak. It was a bit of a rainy trip, but after it finally cleared out we pulled off on one of the banks to eat and take a break. Anytime Hunter is near water he is skipping rocks, so I honestly thought nothing of it when he asked me to quit taking pictures and join him. I of course made him teach me, because I am not the greatest when it comes to skipping rocks. Well one of the first things to do was find the perfect skipping rocks. Little did I know when I looked over I would be getting the best rock ever! It was in that moment I swear everything around us stopped and I finally got to say yes to the man of my dreams! P.S. I kept my skipping rocks too.
