We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We went to rival high schools and met through a mutual friend (forever thankful for Kara Anderson!) in 2014. Hoss caught my eye immediately, and the more I got to know him, the more I realized what an amazing guy he was. As our friend group grew closer, my crush on Hoss grew more and more obvious to everyone but him. After 4 brutal years in the "friend zone," he finally asked me on a date in 2018, and the rest is history! God's timing really is perfect! -Savannah

It was the weekend of our two year anniversary, so we had reservations at one of our favorite restaurants that evening to celebrate. Earlier in the week, one of my best friend's mom texted me to ask if we could come visit her and her husband Friday evening. After dinner, we headed to Lake Palestine to sit on the dock, watch the sunset, and visit with Kenny & Jamie. When we arrived at their house, Jamie told us to head down to the dock and she and Kenny would be down in a couple minutes. The dock was decorated with lights, flowers, and candles. A John Mayer song was softly playing in the background when Hoss grabbed my hands, got down on one knee, and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together! -Savannah
