What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive by 1:15pm for parking and seating. If you arrive after 2:00pm, please wait outside until the ceremony concludes.

Answer
Only guests named on your invitation are invited. Thank you for understanding as we intend to create an intimate celebration.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our professional photographer will capture all the moments, and we'll share the gallery with you afterward.

How did you two meet?
Answer
Our story began in church, where we first connected as kids deeply involved in student ministry. Life took us on different paths, but our shared faith ultimately brought us back together one Sunday morning. Since then, we've been inseparable. We love to joke that our moms—who are best friends—essentially "parent trapped" us into an arranged marriage without our knowing. I guess sometimes your mom really does know best!

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Our wedding will be alcohol-free to create an inclusive environment for all guests. We've planned a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and kindly ask that you don't bring your own alcohol. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Yes! We'll serve light refreshments during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet-style dinner and cake at the reception.

What inspired your wedding theme?
Answer
Our wedding theme is rooted in redemption, new beginnings, and the faithfulness of God. Our stories haven’t followed perfect paths, but every step has shaped who we are today. Through healing, growth, and learning to surrender our own plans, we’ve discovered the beauty of starting over with God at the center. This season isn’t just about us — it’s about the family we’re building together and the joy of creating something new from places that once felt broken. Our wedding is a reflection of that truth: that God restores, renews, and writes stories more beautiful than we ever could have imagined.

Is this event completely unplugged?
Answer
No, but we ask that you please silence phones and put away cameras during the ceremony. Photography is welcome and encouraged during the Mix & Mingle, reception, and grand exit.

Is there on site parking available for the event?
Answer
Yes, parking is available at Passion Community Church in the front lot or in the unpaved lot to the right of the building.

How far is Powhatan from Richmond and other surrounding cities?
Answer
Powhatan is approximately 40 minutes from Downtown Richmond, 30 minutes from Short Pump/Henrico, and 20 minutes from Midlothian/Chesterfield.
