Once upon a time, Savannah’s college roommate and Chris's best friend decided they were tired of having friends who complained about being single. They decided the logical solution to this problem was to set them up, ignoring the fact that they went to school on opposite sides of the state. Savannah and Chris began talking, and wanted to meet in person. Chris drove from Klamath Falls to Corvallis (217 miles away) for their first date. There was an instant connection, and they quickly began dating. Chris continued to visit Savannah until the school year ended, at which point they spent the summer together in Portland. After Chris taught Savannah to drive, (better late than never), the two spent the next year driving 217 miles every other weekend to see each other. Savannah graduated college in 2018, and moved to Klamath Falls for her first teaching job so they could be together while Chris finished college. Life had other plans, and Chris got an internship in Portland. For the next six months, they took turns driving between Klamath Falls and Portland (278 miles) to see each other nearly every weekend. Chrisreturned to Klamath Falls, and they remained there until Chris completed his degree in 2019. They then moved to Portland, got engaged, and created this website. As Chris frequently says, it was “worth every mile”.
