Savannah and Chris have known each other for a little over ten years now. Both Chris and Savannah come from very small towns, that actually go to the same high school. Although, Chris and Savannah paths did not cross until later, after college once they both were already working full-time jobs and getting their careers started! One night, Savannah was out with a group of her friends (including Chris's younger brother, whom Savannah has been friends with for years) when her and Chris bumped into each other while at a local spot in Savannah's hometown. Savannah debated going out that night, but decided to join her friends anyway! While hanging out at the town's local spot, Savannah and Chris rarely spoke more than five words to one another. Before they knew it, the night flew by and was over. But, the next day, Chris decided to reach out to Savannah to catch up. The two then began going on dates regularly for the past few months, until Chris then made it official in November 2019. As they say, the rest is history!

Let's start by rewinding a little before getting to the "Yes Day" story! Savannah and Chris just recently purchased their forever home in Chris's hometown of Riverdale, NJ. Not to mention, Savannah also lived in Riverdale for a year where she went to kindergarten, while Chris was in the fourth grade. Fun Fact: this was the only time that Savannah and Chris have ever gone to school together. Who would have thought that down the line, they would have purchased a house in the same town where they both went to school together?! And soon, their children will go to school where they once did. The two closed on their forever home in July 2021. Savannah and Chris moved in not too long after and began making their house, a home! After many nights of painting and unpacking, Savannah and Chris decided to take a break from house projects and enjoy themselves for a night! During the second weekend in October (Savannah's favorite fall month), the two decided to go pumpkin picking, where Chris took Savannah to the cutest pumpkin patch in Vernon, NJ. They had such a fun time picking out pumpkins, drinking warm apple cider, and of course, eating sugary apple cider donuts. Later that day, they decided to end the night by going to Hibachi! After getting ready, Savannah and Chris each had a drink on the front porch before going to dinner. You should know, that the porch is the couple's favorite spot out of the whole house! Before leaving for dinner, Savannah and Chris decided to have one last drink. Chris went inside to "pour another glass of wine" but really went inside to get the ring. When Chris came back out, he got down on one knee and asked Savannah to marry him! It was just the two of them, such an intimate moment. Savannah couldn't believe her eyes! She was so surprised, and loved every second of it! After saying "yes" to the man of her dreams, they decided to cancel their dinner reservations and celebrate with their family for the night instead!

Savannah and Chris will be tying the knot at Silas Condict Park in Kinnelon, New Jersey on October 1, 2022! See you all soon! xoxo
