Savannah and Chase’s love story began back in high school in Harrisburg, NC, in 2013, when times were simpler, and nobody knew what the future held. Although they were just a couple of kids, they felt the strong connection early on. Though their relationship was beautiful, the timing wasn’t right. God must have known they were meant to be together, and gave them another chance… After graduating from college, Chase moved back to the Charlotte area to run the family restaurant. Savannah was finishing her senior year of undergrad at UNC Charlotte. By coincidence, the two crossed paths while out one day. Funny enough, Chase’s friend Chase Guthrie was with him, and Savannah’s friend Megan Reed was with her. After they went separate ways and the guys were alone, Chase told his buddy “She’s the one, bro.” That familiar spark was back – and it was here to stay. From that day on, the two started hanging out more frequently, and began dating soon after. After a love-filled 5 years of constant laughter and timeless memories, Chase decided to make things official. He was confident she was the one and wanted her to feel like the most special woman in the world on that day. Knowing Savannah, he had to be creative with the proposal to ensure she was unsuspecting. On the morning of November 24th, 2024, Chase told Savannah he wanted to go to church with her family. He waited anxiously downstairs for her to get ready, ring in pocket and dogs pacing, wondering if he’d remember the words he planned to say. As Savannah walked down the stairs, looking absolutely stunning for a random Sunday in November (maybe she did know), she saw Chase grinning ear to ear at the bottom and asked, “What are you doing?” And with that, Chase dropped to a knee, and the rest is history. If you’re looking for the happy couple, you can find them enjoying quality time together at one of their favorite local spots, like Pippa’s Café. One thing about Savannah and Chase is that they are very spontaneous and love to explore new areas of their city. From riding rollercoasters to watching drive-in movies, they enjoy making the most out of their time. And if you really know these two, then you know that Chase probably convinced Savannah to cap the date off with a sweet treat. Savannah and Chase are so blessed to have the endless support of their family and friends.
