Where's the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The wedding will be held at The Laboratory Mill in Lincolnton, NC. Please use the following address when routing to the location. The ceremony and reception will all be held here. The Laboratory Mill 848 Southfork Rd Lincolnton, NC 28092

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the venue will be open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 3pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to find a seat.

What's the wedding dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We just ask that you avoid jeans and the color white. Our colors are on the darker side, so if you could wear something dark, that would be preferred.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be held indoors as well as reception.

Are there accommodations near the venue or hotel room blocks?

There is parking available on-site.

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

We are not allowing plus-ones at our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we kindly request an adults-only celebration.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving a meat or chicken option, as well as dessert. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and reception.

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

A one hour cocktail hour will take place at the venue between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails and small bites.

Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. For the reception of course feel free to take photos. Please just phones away for the ceremony.
