We met in the summer of 2009 through mutual friends and after getting to know one another for about a year we decided to officially date. The first two years of our relationship was long distance with the two of us commuting between Omaha, NE and Iowa City, IA every few weekends to see one another. Following that we lived in Iowa City, IA together for a couple years working, finishing up college, and rooting on the Hawkeyes! Once we finally decided to hang up our party animal shirts we returned to the Omaha, NE area to plant our roots. We lived with family for a few years before buying a house in Council Bluffs, IA. We share our home with our one and only fur baby "Ceata." She is the craziest and most loving black lab you'll meet. We got engaged in this home in December of 2018, Ceata even got to play a part in the proposal! We have been planning this wedding for awhile now and covid didn't help matters, causing us to postpone. We are so ready and excited to be married and celebrate with our family and friends! The two of us will celebrate our eleventh anniversary this June, just prior to our wedding in July!
