It started with a fateful encounter between intern and preceptor at a small local hospital in 2021. Savannah had just begun her journey as an intern to become a dietitian. Her first rotation was at TVMC where Armando was the precepting dietitian. Savannah's beauty commanded unwavering attention that instantly caught Armando's eye. The spark was lit and attraction heightened as they spent hours conversing, discussing future goals and aspirations. Even coming in on days off to continue conversing. Becoming quite fond of each other and dreading the end of the rotation, Savannah went as far as to "borrow" Armando's dietetic exam study binder (that was on it's last life) and keep it as a way to pop back into Armando's life. Making a lasting and suggestive impression by returning the study guide in a memorable brand new sleek binder. At the conclusion of the internship, Armando and Savannah started to hang out more. They enjoyed conversations into the late night hours ranging from a wide variety of topics including family, God, hobbies, cultural exchange, and their dogs. They also spent countless nights on the dance floor enjoying everything from Bachata to Cumbia to Salsa and everything in between. After years of friendship, they decided to establish a formal relationship to continue dating each other and explore what a future together would look like. Years of dating brought growth, countless adventures, and many firsts including traveling to multiple countries, going to haunted houses, and fostering a sense of family between themselves and their dogs. Over time they established a bond founded on love, trust, respeck, and faith in God. They agreed they could not imagine doing life without each other and decided to tie the knot and build a future together. They continue to learn, love, travel, explore each others cultures, and desire to continue to pursue a relationship with God to form a union modeled after Christ's love for the Church.
