Should we get a room in downtown San Antonio for the wedding?

Answer

THIS IS OUR BIGGEST REQUEST! We want everyone to come to the wedding weekend and enjoy as many events as possible to the fullest. No need to be drinking and driving, and we all know the champagne will be flowing!

Can I bring a date to the Wedding?

Answer

Only the people specifically included on the wedding invitation are invited. We look forward to spending this special day with those closest to us both.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are not included as part of the invitation to the wedding. They are more than welcome to join in the festivities on Thursday at the Welcome BBQ.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, cocktail attire; this is your chance to get fancy. We request no jeans, please.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Everyone will enjoy the same delicious menu, specially curated by Chef Johnny Hernandez. If you have a severe allergy please let us know at least two weeks before the wedding so we can be best prepared to accommodate your needs.

Do I need to rent a car in San Antonio for the weekend?

Answer

You shouldn't need one! The Welcome BBQ, Cocktail Party, and the Wedding will all be in the downtown area. The hotels we have suggested are all walkable or a very short Uber ride.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will get the party started on Thursday October 21st with a Welcome BBQ at our home. There is a Welcome Cocktail party on Friday October 22nd which is open to all who want to see us before the wedding day.

Which hotels have a hotel shuttle option for their guest?

Answer

Hotels in San Antonio do not offer shuttle service. You will be able to get a ride to the airport, wedding events, sightseeing locations or restaurants via the ride share app of your choice. Don't forget to ask the Hotel Concierge for assistance.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will be staying at the Hotel Valencia but also have a block of rooms at the Wyndham Garden Inn on the River Walk. For those who want to make this a true destination vacation - The Hotel Emma and the brand-new Thompson Hotel are also great options that are easily accessible.

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. The location has ample complimentary parking. For those guest staying downtown - we strongly recommend either taking an Uber or strolling the beautiful River Walk to get to the venue.

When is my RSVP due?

September 25th. Please RSVP via the card that will be provided in your invitation. There will not be an online RSVP option.

Although your presence at our wedding is enough, we are registered. Please consult the "Registry" tab on this website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive by 4:45p.m. as the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00p.m. (Then we can get to the dancing part!)

By all means, please feel free to do so. We look forward to spending the Welcome BBQ and the Welcome Cocktail Party with anyone who wants to celebrate with us.

What is the weather like in San Antonio in October?

Answer

That's a great question! Average temperatures range from 59 degrees to 81 degrees. Evenings can get chilly, but days are usually sunny and crisp. October is one of the favorite weather months for San Antonians.
