Fun Fact: When Savannah first met Alex, she was not living in San Diego. Savannah was still living in North Carolina and was only in town for the weekend for a work event. Their first date took place during that visit. Savannah remembers Alex picking her up from her hotel and taking her to The Grass Skirt, a cozy Tiki speakeasy in Pacific Beach. After enjoying a couple of drinks and appetizers, Alex asked if she was ready to head back to her hotel, knowing she had more meetings the next day and it was getting late. But to his surprise, Savannah replied that she wanted to see the ocean. A month later, Savannah moved to San Diego, and the rest, as they say, is history.
