Dominic and Savannah met while we were both attending Mandan High School, those were the days huh? Dominic was a senior and Savannah was a freshman, so they fell out of contact for a while. Fast forward to December of 2017, Dead Week at NDSU, Dominic and Savannah reconnected through social media and went on their first "date" to the West Dining Center on campus before going to the STEM Building to write papers. Mind you, this was the most unromantic first date ever, because Savannah had horrible bronchitis and Dominic didn't think Savannah would make it through the night! They began to continue talking throughout Christmas break, and went on their first official date at the famous Christmas Corner in Bismarck, ND. After that, the rest was history!

In April of 2019, Dominic moved back home to Mandan, ND to begin his post grad job at the Bank of North Dakota as a Student Loan Processor. Savannah stayed in Fargo, ND until May 10, 2019 when she finally joined Dominic in their new home, back in their home town. Dominic always told Savannah and everyone around them that he would propose to Savannah while she was going to the bathroom. So, while Savannah was unpacking the essentials in her bathroom, she turned around and saw Dominic on one knee. Almost speechless, she then told Dominic that he was not allowed to joke around, and he could only ask what she thought he was going to ask, if he was serious. So, Dominic told Savannah that he was serious, and popped the question! Once Dominic and Savannah realized that they were engaged, both of them giggled because they had realized that Dominic had, like he said, proposed to Savannah in the bathroom.
