We met on the dating app called Bumble. Daniel was visiting his family during the summer from Utah State and I was attending Boise State. After several weeks of messaging back and forth, we finally set a date to meet in person: June 30, 2018. Our first date took place at Wahooz where Daniel and I dominated arcade games, slayed werewolves on the Dark Ride, and played a round of mini-golf that gave us an opportunity to inquire about each other’s lives. Afterwards, we stopped at a frozen yogurt shop and indulged ourselves with sweets and great conversation. We talked so much, my frozen yogurt melted (and later was told how disgusted he was that I continued eating it). Soon after saying our goodbyes, we gave each other a hug - so warm and sincere - that was too quick to end. We knew in that moment this could really be Something!
