I met Tyler through Tinder in early August 2017 and we started talking. A week later, on August 12th I drove two hours to Circle, Montana to be Tyler’s wedding date at his friend’s wedding. During the wedding reception, I saw his smile and my life flashed before my eyes. It was at that moment I knew he was the one I wanted to spend my life with. Later that night, Tyler asked me if I wanted to run with him. Me, not really hearing what he said, nervously said yes. Three years later on September 5th, 2020, Tyler asked me to be his wife. We were down in Deadwood, SD with a bunch of friends for a mini vacay. Saturday night we were drinking and relaxing on the deck of the cabin after a long day of doing touristy things. Tyler said, “I can’t take this anymore, Savanna will you be my wife?” I of course said, “Yes.” He later explained to me that he had a whole plan on how to ask, but it didn’t work out. The proposal wasn’t perfect, but it was us. Our relationship isn’t perfect either, and it seems like nothing we plan goes like we want it too. God always has the right plan for us and that helps us remember we will get through it together. Since the moment we met our relationship has been full of memories, ups and downs, and love. Tyler and I have been through so much together and I strongly believe that it has made our relationship stronger and brought us closer together. Relationships are tough, very tough, and we have both learned how help each other figure things out, no matter what. We grew and matured together as a couple and as individuals. We are each other’s biggest supporter in no matter what we do. Truly best friends and soul mates. We love making memories, going to rodeos all over North Dakota and Eastern Montana, hunting and fishing, spending time with our families and friends and our 3 fur babies. This August we are celebrating our 4 year anniversary and when we get married it will be on our 5th year anniversary, August 12th, 2022.
