What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Southington CT. Reception to follow at The Grand Oakvilla, Oakville CT.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.”

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a guest (plus one)

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Some decor is rented, we kindly ask all decor is left at the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we would love for guests to post pictures on to their social media, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #RiveraSquared so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
