Both Jamison and I reported for duty on January 26, 2022. He brought in a patient to room 3 at the hospital I was working at, which I was the nurse assigned to that room. Jamie gave report on the patient he brought and concluded with "Is there anything else you need?" I responded with "nothing you could give me." He said, "Try me." So I sat and schemed as to what I could say to make this man mine. I messaged him on Facebook "I need banana pudding ice cream from Brusters with one sugar eye sprinkle." From there, our first date was planned to get icecream. While this did not happen as our first date, on January 20th, 2024, Jamie took me to get a very lovely dinner that concluded with ice cream. At Kilwins, with our friends Lydia and Ryan present and videos recording, Jamie said "Can we make this our date?". He got down on one knee, and I answered the easiest question I had ever been asked. We are getting married!
