We're getting married!!

James and I met a few years ago. Of course, we were attending a sports event! ( Go figure right?!) We briefly exchanged names in crowds passing and never thought anything of it. About a year after I saw this handsome man, I ran into him yet again one evening. I pulled over to get gas at a Shell gas station, went inside and VIOLA! James was standing in line in front of me paying for gas as well. What are the odds right?! He glances back at me, then asking where he knew me from. We talked for a minute, asked how each other was doing and went on our own ways once again. Oh, but the story does not end there! I used my detective, girly skills to track down his Facebook page (so 2018) and friend him. We continued talking and the sparks started there. Fast forward to going on our first date- with his friend Clark tagging along per usual- to the Electric Cowboy. We arrived at the country bar, by motorcycle! (Totally unprepared for this kinda ride in shorts and sandals.) A song by Ed Sherran played and James asked me to danced, swooning me with his dance moves. The rest is history!

James and I made plans to go to our friend Andrew's surprise party this evening. Little did I know, that James and SO many others had put together my dream engagement propsal!! On our way to the party, James stopped three times. Once to Walgreens, then Starbucks and yet again at another Walgreens. (I didn't know what was going on with him!) We arrive at Andrew's party, walk inside and all of our friends/family yelled SURPRISE as I walked through the door. Stunned, I was still looking for Andrew, as it was his party. Then, I notice my family and my sister who flew in for what I then realized was my 25th birthday party! As the tears rolled, I was speechless to all the loved ones I was surrounded by. AND the fact that James had pulled off such a great party! As the night continues, and we bring out the candles/cake- i was escorted to a chair in the middle of the room. James, my family, and our friends had put together the sweetest slideshow!! After many pictures of me and my family, and then me and James- the slideshow said: "And there's one more surprise..." THEN I realized this was our engagement!! James came around the chair and asked me to share. the rest of my life with him. OF COURSE I SAID YES!! We are SO excited to start this next chapter of our life together as husband + wife!
