Clarion Hotel Morgan

This affordable, historic 1925 hotel is right in the heart of Morgantown and will be our home base for the wedding. We'll be having our rehearsal reception and Friday Night Hangout there, and will run a shuttle from the hotel to the wedding location on Saturday. From the hotel it's a very short walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. Please call the hotel directly to reserve your room and let them know you're with the Lyons-Seitz wedding to get our group rate. The discounted rate expires on May 1.

Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place

This is a higher-end hotel less than a mile from the Hotel Morgan. It is located on the edge of downtown, about half a mile's walk from various bars, restaurants and shops. It is next to the Monongalia River, featuring river views and access to a riverwalk path. Our wedding guests can receive a 15% discount on normal rates until May 1. To make reservations call 304-296-1700 or 800-630-2594 and ask for the "social event rate."

Flight

Flying into Morgantown (MGW)

Looking to fly directly to Morgantown? Southern Airways offers regular flights from Pittsburgh (PIT) to Morgantown's Municipal Airport (MGW). You can search for flights to MGW on services like Kayak.com or try searching for local flights on the Southern Airways website (https://iflysouthern.com/). Note that this option may be more expensive than flying to Pittsburgh and then completing your journey by bus or car.

Flying into Pittsburgh (PIT)

The Pittsburgh International Airport is located about 1.5 hours from Morgantown and offers many affordable flights. From there, you can rent a car, take the Megabus (see below), or take the Mountain Line's Grey Line bus (http://www.busride.org/maps-schedules/routes/29-grey-line), which runs from the Pittsburgh airport to Morgantown about three times a day. If you need help getting to and from Pittsburgh, let us know -- we might able to arrange a shared pickup.

Megabus runs from Pittsburgh and Washington to Morgantown at very affordable rates. (This is actually bus, not a train, but Zola.com didn't have a bus option)

Shuttle

Shuttle between the Hotel Morgan and the Wedding on Saturday

The wedding ceremony and reception will both happen at Camp Muffly 4H Camp, which is about 15 minutes from downtown Morgantown and the Hotel Morgan. For those guests who won't have a car, and for those who will have a car but would care to drink a beer or two, a shuttle bus will be available to take passengers from the Clarion Hotel Morgan to the wedding location during 1:30-2:30pm on Saturday. Return shuttles from Camp Muffly to the hotel will run regularly during 8pm-11pm. We love you and want you to be safe! Don't drink and drive!
