Getting around St Pete

Downtown St Petersburg is dense. In some places, parking can be difficult. We recommend walking or Ubering instead of driving around town. If flying in, we don't think a rental car is necessary. Both hotel recommendations are less than 5 minutes walking from the Museum of Fine Arts. For public transportation, we have the "looper" trolley, a free service running up and down Central Avenue, as well as the SunRunner, a rapid bus which runs from downtown to the beach.
