FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our favorite people! Due to space and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus-one was included, you will see their name or “+ guest” on your invite. Thank you for understanding, we can’t wait to see you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time for parking and to get seated before the ceremony begins. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM (CT).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Field parking will be available at our venue. Attendants will be on-site to help guide you when you arrive. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes just in case the ground is uneven.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, as most guests will have rental cars or be driving themselves. The hotel is just 1 mile away, and a quick 6-minute drive to the venue. If you need help coordinating a ride or have questions about directions, feel free to reach out, we are happy to help!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you’re arriving in town early, please join us for a casual welcome dinner on Friday at 6pm, at Rainbow Riders (our wedding venue). It’s a great chance to relax, visit, and kick off the weekend together. We’d love to see you there!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our celebration will take place outdoors, so we recommend garden party or dressy casual attire. Think sundresses, dress shirts, or slacks—whatever makes you feel festive and comfortable. Since the ceremony will be on grass, flat or block-heeled shoes are ideal.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Weather permitting, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We’ll have plenty of shade and tent coverage, but please plan accordingly in case of variable weather (bring a layer just in case—it’s the Midwest!).
