Our ceremony and reception will be held at Bridal Veil Lakes—a beautiful outdoor venue tucked into the forest near the Columbia River Gorge. The venue is at a higher elevation, so be prepared for weather that can shift from warm and sunny to cool and breezy, especially in the evening.
The dress code is Garden Party Formal—think elevated outdoor wedding attire. Dresses, jumpsuits, and suits are all great. Please keep in mind: The ceremony takes place on a lawn, so flat shoes or block heels are recommended. There are a few covered areas, but most of the event is outdoors. Bring a layer! June in Oregon can cool down quickly once the sun sets.
Bridal Veil Lakes is about 30-40 minutes from Portland. Rideshare can be very limited—especially in the evening. Here are your best options: Group Transportation: We’re providing a round-trip EcoShuttle from the "Regal Lloyd Center Cinema Parking" in Portland to the venue. If you’d like to ride the shuttle, be sure to let us know when you RSVP so we can reserve your seat! This pick up leaves at 3:45pm and returns from Bridal Veil Lakes at 10pm. Driving Yourself: There is plenty of parking at the venue.
Our celebration will be adults-only, and we anticipate the only little one in attendance to be our sweet baby nephew. That said, we completely understand if travel logistics require you to bring your child—just reach out and let us know so we can plan accordingly.
