What should I wear?

The dress code is semi-formal / beach chic. Light fabrics, breathable styles, and colors that complement a tropical setting are encouraged. Please keep in mind that some events may be outdoors on sand or grass.

What are the plans for the wedding weekend?

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
You are welcome to bring friends or family along to enjoy your vacation at the resort. However, please note that our wedding events have limited capacity, so only invited guests will be able to participate in the official celebrations.

Do I need a passport?

Yes. All travelers will need a valid passport to enter Mexico. Please check your expiration date well in advance, as some airlines require it to be valid at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged directly through Hotel Riu Latino with a prior reservation. We recommend adding this at the time of your booking or contacting the resort by email to arrange in advance.

What if I’m staying at another resort?

Guests not staying at Hotel Riu Latino will need to purchase a day pass in order to access the resort and attend the wedding events.

Can I use the spa at the resort?

Yes, but spa reservations must be made in advance. We recommend booking early to ensure availability during your stay.

Yes — Hotel Riu Latino is an adults-only property, open to guests 18 and older.

Which airport should I fly into, and how long is the transfer?
Answer
Guests should fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). The drive from the airport to Costa Mujeres takes about 26 minutes by car (approximately 25.6 km) under typical traffic conditions.

Should I book my stay through the resort or a travel agent?

We recommend booking directly through the resort to ensure the best coordination, access to resort services, and clarity on inclusions.

Are there additional group activities planned?

No — there are no extra group events beyond the wedding weekend. The only organized activities will be for the wedding itself.

May in Cancún / Costa Mujeres tends to be warm and humid. Expect average highs around 33 °C (91 °F), with lows near 26–27 °C (78–81 °F). Rainfall is possible, generally one to a few showers, so be prepared.

Yes — there will be an exchange/tax through the resort’s ATM or banking services. If you have a travel credit card that doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees, that may be more convenient.
