This is the song that was playing when he proposed.
As many of you all know I am very nosey and wasn't so subtle about wanting to get engaged, so the fact that he pulled this off without me knowing was a miracle. Evan came to pick me up to go get ice cream, after getting it we decided we wanted to go put the tailgate down and eat our ice cream outside, Evan chose to go to park in the Kroger Field red lot. We got out and put the tailgate down but Evan had ants in his pants and couldn't sit still and changed the song a million times. In the short time he sat on the tailgate, he asked me if I remembered what happened in this area the year before during a tailgate and I told him, of course I did, it was the first time we said I love you. Then, he changed the song to "One Day Tonight" by Noah Thompson and asked me to come look at something at the front of the truck, I thought it was a puppy and to my surprise he was down on one knee and he asked me to marry him. I think I asked him if he was serious and then said YES! After putting the ring on my finger he pointed across the road to where our families were waiting for us. We went to show all of our Grandpa's and ended the night at dinner with our families. It was truly a perfect day and better than anything I could of dreamed.
