Savanah and Tristan met while attending Miami University at a favorite local bar called CJ's. What started as an ordinary Saturday quickly turned memorable when the cops showed up and everyone rushed out the back door. In the middle of the chaos, Savanah and Tristan quite literally ran into each other in the alley. Tristan, thinking quickly, wooed Savanah by showing off his bilingual abilities using the language of love -- German. Later that night, determined not to let the moment slip away, Savanah asked for "that German Boy's" phone number. Tristan made it official by asking Savanah to be his girlfriend on March 18th, 2021. ~ They spent the rest of college together -- attending date parties, visiting each other's childhood homes, and soaking in time with their friends. Once they graduated, Savanah and Tristan moved to Chicago and started their small family, including their dog, Milo, and their cat, Wilson. ~ Tristan proposed to Savanah in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany in August 2025. He surprised her by having both families present to celebrate the occasion with a horse carriage ride, a gondola trip to the top of the mountain for lunch, and a hike. They finished the night with wine, pizza, and laughter. ~ Savanah and Tristan are overjoyed to welcome you as they begin this beautiful new chapter together—your presence makes their celebration even more special.
