We’re getting married!

We went to elementary, middle, and high school together, but we never really had much interaction. Then, in November of 2018, we began communicating with each other and realized we had a lot in common. Ben also attended UTC, which is where I was considering transferring to the following fall semester of 2019. On November 30th (my birthday) we finally went out somewhere together. One thing led to another, and here we are!

One day after class, Ben asked me to get ready to go out to eat and go to “Sunset Rock” in Chattanooga to view the sunset. As we approached the spot on Sunset Rock, I noticed a photographer, but I didn’t think much of it because people are always photographing the scenery. Ben asked me to sit down, and after I did, he got down on one knee and pulled the ring box out of his sock! I suddenly realized the photographer was for that exact moment. Ben asked me to marry him, and I very quickly said, “YES!” We are so excited for the next chapter in our lives, and we cannot wait to celebrate with our loved ones. See you on December 10th!
