The wedding is on October 10, 2026. The ceremony starts at 3:30pm, with the reception to follow. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
The wedding will be relatively dressy. Many would probably refer to the dress code as Black Tie Optional. For men, it means you can go for a dark suit and tie, rather than a full tuxedo. Women can wear a cocktail dress or a stylish separates outfit, like a skirt and blouse, instead of a long evening gown. Although long evening gowns are still very much an option. The idea of black tie optional is to look polished and formal, but you have more freedom to pick something that suits your style. Please don't feel like you have to go out and buy anything overly special! If you have specific questions about attire, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or Kyle. Side Note: To ensure our ceremony is focused and our photos are perfect, we kindly ask that you refrain from chewing gum during the ceremony. We also request no cell phones out during the ceremony. Thank you!
The wedding is being held at Cool Water Events in Emmett, Idaho. The address is listed on the invites and main page of the website. The event center is not only located on a working ranch but is also right on the river. Please be aware of the river bank and several ponds located on the property if you have little ones.
The weather can get a bit chilly in October, particularly towards the evening. So, please plan on slightly cooler weather, and the possibility of wind or rain. It is Idaho, and the weather can change at the drop of a hat.
If you have any allergies you think we should be aware of, please contact us and we’ll let you know if we believe there will be any issues and what we can do to work around allergies.
There are plenty of hotels within a 20-30 minute drive of the venue. If you need or want specific recommendations, please let us know.
