The health and safety of our family is the most important thing to us. We will not reschedule until we know it is safe to do so. We are paying close attention to all the the experts and know that there are differences state to state. We want to celebrate and be all together as much as you, so hopefully it will be safe to do so soon!!
The wedding ceremony will be held Thursday for parents & siblings only. Friday and Saturday we will hold receptions for all the people that we want to celebrate with. Since it is a bit of a trip for most people we are setting up a full weekend itinerary to entertain you and give ourselves more time to hang out with everyone. Hopefully you can join in on all the events that we have planned.
There isn't a dress code. Come in chic shorts, pants, dresses, or whatever you deem appropriate. Don't stress out about what you are wearing, because we won't be either! A jacket for the evening is recommended because of that cool ocean breeze.
Yes, our first choice is the Hilton due to the location. This hotel is a short walk to the reception, the funk zone, and the beach. There are other hotels just down the street from the Hilton and several AirBNB options in the city. Where you stay is up to you! We prefer the Hilton only since it will be a great starting point for all of our activities for the weekend.
Yes. We are basically staying on the beach. We will be playing in the water when we are not popping champagne bottles.
Bring them. The reception space is huge and kids can play around in the garden. Also, the beach activities will be perfect for the little ones.
We suggest if you are flying in you take the direct flight to LAX and then rent a car. With so many things to do in Santa Barbara you may appreciate being mobile. The drive is about 90 miles from the airport to the center of Santa Barbara. Expect plenty of traffic and ocean views. If you don't want to rent a car you can look into shuttles/buses that leave from LAX and take you to Santa Barbara. Recently John Amato took the bus to SB. So if you have questions about this method of transportation, just ask him! He can be reached at john@jupmode.com
Forecast is prolly 70 degrees plus or minus a couple. Marine layer may be present, but shouldn't hold back the party. Bring your moo moo if you get cold when the sun sets!
