PDX would be a second (and probably more affordable) option! It is a 3 hr drive from Pendleton, but one of the prettiest drives if you want to see the beautiful Oregon Gorge!

A nice Hotel option with a Casino, Movie Theater, & Bowling Alley attached. A 10-15 min drive from Pendleton (the opposite direction of Echo). Highly Recommend!
