No, we do not; we kindly request no boxed gifts.
We would love for our guests to join us in celebrating with traditional Indian flair! If you're local to the NJ/NY area, there are various stores for Indian clothing and accessories (e.g., Oak Tree Road in Iselin, NJ). For women: lehengas, sarees, salwar kameez For men: kurta pajamas, jackets Footwear: juttis, heels, flats, dress shoes Some websites for ready-to-wear/custom order outfits are listed below: https://www.lashkaraa.com https://perniaspopupshop.com https://www.kalkifashion.com There are also indo-western options, or if you prefer, western formal attire is acceptable as well. What matters most is that you celebrate with us in style, comfort, and vibrant colors!
If you'd like to attend the baraat, please arrive at 3 PM. Otherwise, the wedding ceremony will begin at 4 PM.
Indian wedding ceremonies can be a bit longer than Western ones (often 1–2 hours). As the ceremony is outdoors, we will provide seating, shade, and light refreshments so you’re comfortable. The ceremony will include traditional rituals, primarily in Sanskrit (with explanations in English), so everyone can follow along. We request that guests refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony so that everyone can be fully present and give their blessings to the couple!
Guests are welcome to stay in their ceremony attire for the entire celebration as the cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow the wedding ceremony. While the venue has limited space available for changing, guests are welcome to return to their hotel if they would prefer to change outfits before the reception.
Both Indian and Hispanic dishes (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) will be served buffet-style. Due to religious nature of the ceremony, alcohol will not be served until the cocktail hour and reception.
Yes, complimentary self-parking is available on-site for all guests. Transportation will not be provided to or from the venue, so consider carpooling or ride share options!
