FAQs

If you have any other questions not listed below, please reach out to Ashley or Andrew. If questions arise on the wedding day, please reach out to our parents with any concerns.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by August 28th.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Click on the RSVP tab above, or scan the QR code on the RSVP card that comes with your invitation. From there, you can search one name in your party and select who will be attending the ceremony, reception, and/or brunch.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

On this website you will see a registry tab along the top of the screen. We chose to use Zola to organize our registry items, which are from an array of stores. Each item is either available to purchase through Zola or will direct you to the store's website to purchase.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations or a hotel block?

Answer

Check out the "Travel" tab for the information regarding our hotel block.

Question

Do you have any restaurant recommendations for travelers?

Answer

Yes! Please check out the "Things To Do" tab for our favorite local restaurants.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is parking on site for the ceremony & reception, but please note that all cars must be off the property by 1am. There is a shuttle available to and from the hotel- see the "Travel" tab for more details. The venue is roughly 15-20 minutes from the hotel.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:15pm to allow time to find a seat. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests wear cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, suits and ties, or nice sports coats. Please refrain from wearing jeans or sneakers. The ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting) so we recommend wearing a thicker heel to avoid sinking into the grass.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love and adore your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! Thank you in advance for understanding, we appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Am I able to take photos during your wedding?

Answer

We have paid for an amazing photographer to help us capture our day- therefore, the ceremony will be an unplugged event. Please refrain from having your phone out during the ceremony. During the cocktail hour & reception, however, we strongly encourage you to take photos!

Question

What food will be served at your reception?

Answer

BBQ is our meal of choice for the reception- smoked brisket, pulled pork and chicken, and smoked mac and cheese, to name just a few items- which will be served buffet style.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar for the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at midnight, with the last shuttle of the night leaving just before.

Question

Is there an afterparty?

Answer

There is no formal afterparty planned at this time.

Question

Is there a brunch the day after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a brunch at 15th Street Tavern in Clarkston the morning after the wedding from 10am-12pm. See the schedule tab for the full address and details.
