We met in 2019 at our last job, but our very first real interaction involved a little help from a wingman. I had my wingman Joel casually let Jonathan know that I was single (subtle, I know), which somehow led to the three of us hanging out and eating pizza together. What started as an easy, low-pressure hang quickly turned into hours of effortless conversation. At one point, Joel mentioned a new movie that had just come out and suggested that Jonathan and I should go see it together—clearly doing what wingmen do best. According to Jonathan, he wanted to wait a few days and officially ask me out, giving himself time to “play it cool.” Patience has never been my strong suit. So naturally, I asked him out the very next day. We still joke that we both made the first move… but I definitely couldn’t wait. From there, everything unfolded in the most natural way. After dating for a little over a year, we took a leap and bought our first home together—equal parts exciting and scary, but something that felt completely right. A few years later, we added Oakley to our family, who quickly became the heart of our home. We both have the same values and always put family first which isn't easy to find. We knew we had to keep each other. On our annual trip to Cabo, where i was so sure it wasn't going to happen..we were on the beach making a tik tok, and next thing i know he is on his knee... the best day of both of our lives! We are so excited to spend the rest of our time together!!
