Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening. Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white or other colors typically reserved for the bride.

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We are honored to have you all as witnesses to our vows and the beginning of our marriage. With this in mind, we invite you to be truly present with us, and respectfully request that all cameras and phones be turned off during the ceremony. We look forward to sharing our professional photos after the big day! Feel free to take as many pictures/videos you want after the ceremony - we will have QR codes displayed throughout the venue where photos can be uploaded to a shared album for us all to enjoy.

Do we have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. We truly have everything we need for our home, but if you’d like to honor us with a gift, a contribution to our future together would be deeply appreciated.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To create the intimate celebration we’ve envisioned with our closest friends and family, we are limiting the guest list to only those on the invitation. Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to party with everyone!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. We recommend arriving closer to 4:30pm in order to be sure you get a good seat and enjoy the ambience.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

For everyone to enjoy the evening to the fullest, we kindly request no children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle service between the Hyatt Regency Rochester and The Arbor Loft. Ahead of the ceremony, there will be a shuttle from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting guests back to the hotel from 9:15pm - 11:15pm.
