We’re getting married!

Heather and Nick first met on St. Patrick’s Day in Downtown Denver when mutual friends introduced them and they shared a shot together. However, if you ask Nick, he'd say they met a few weeks later at Mile High Spirits since he doesn't quite remember the first meeting after a few green Bud Lights and Jameson shots. It will come as no surprise to anyone that when he introduced himself, Heather responded with a snarky “I know who you are.” Being the confident person Nick is, he didn't let Heather’s dismissal scare him off so easily. They spent the evening playing bags, drinking, and a few more attempts at flirting before heading home. The next day at work, Heather's friend asked how things went. Heather explained that Nick flirted but she wasn't interested since she thought he was in a relationship, which she found out wasn't the case. That weekend Heather visited her sister in AZ and told her the whole story. She let Heather know that if she had any chance of fixing it she should definitely reach out. Not wanting to miss an opportunity, Heather slid in to Nick’s Instagram DM’s. After a few messages, they arranged to meet up at Kona Grill for a first date when they were both back in CO. Not a big Sushi fan, Heather hoped for the best and met with Nick for their first date. She wasn’t sure quite sure what to order and Nick couldn’t believe he’d managed to get a date with her. They both say the date went well and after walking Heather to her car, they shared their first kiss. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to see her again, Nick immediately asked Heather to join him at Red Rocks for the Phoenix concert a week later. That night they got completely drenched from the rain and hail but if you look at the pictures from that night they both still have huge smiles on their face and fit together perfectly! On any given weekend, if you ask them what they’re up to, you’ll more than likely hear them say they’re planning to enjoy a few beers, sushi, or live music!
