We met attending San Jose Middle School in Novato, CA about 15 years ago. A lot of you reading this were right there with us so you know how awkward and hilarious those years were- what a great place to meet your future spouse (said no one ever)! By some miracle we managed to stay friends (and alive) throughout high school, and by high school graduation considered one another best friends. So it's no surprise that as new young adults about to start college (thinking we knew everything) we thought "casually dating" was a good idea, even though one of us would be going to school in Tahoe and the other in Hawaii. Fast forward through college (spoiler alert: the casual dating didn't work out but we remained friends) and we reunited at Satu's college graduation. We decided from that point on to try dating again, and now five years later we are about to get married! Moral of the story- marry someone from junior high because they have TRULY seen you at your worst. It's only uphill from there!!!

No that is not us at prom, but it is the last time the two of us took a normal photo! Enjoy the sparkles ;)
