Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). For our out-of-state guests, we recommend arriving Thursday night if you can (12/1). If you plan to join us for brunch the next day, aim to depart after 4pm on Saturday (12/3), or feel free to stay to enjoy Austin until Sunday!
When you RSVP, you will either see your name only or your name and any additional guest(s) invited. Thank you for understanding that we are prioritizing an intimate gathering with our closest family and friends. Sharing a guest list means we had to make compromises on both sides.
Same answer as above!
We've got nothing planned to reserve time for last minute details and a good nights rest. If you are arriving on Thursday, we encourage you to take advantage and check out Austin! We'll let you know closer to the date how you can get in touch with others who are hanging out.
Cocktail attire for our ceremony and dinner reception. Our Family BBQ is super casual! Please note we are a shoeless household and will be providing you with slippers to change into :)
The average daily High in Austin in December is about 64 degrees, and the average daily Low can drop to mid 40s at night. Our festivities will be held indoors though we will be taking pictures outdoors after the ceremony for ~20 minutes. We've enjoyed many warm nights in Texas in December, but we definitely recommend you pack a jacket and/or shawl.
Austin is a major city with both Uber/Lyft readily available. We've recommended hotels that are less than 20 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes to our events. A car rental could be helpful if you're traveling as a family or planning an extended stay and want to explore further.
