Zel's Del Mar
Originally called "Cafe Del Mar", this is were we met. We were both servers and worked together for about a week. If you get a chance to check this out, we suggest trying the Warm Chicken Salad!
Liberty Station
Liberty Station is a huge area, there is a TON to do including golf, shopping, dining or simply walking around and enjoying the views. The link above is for the open market place, which includes micro food stations, like a cafeteria, and a bar with indoor and outdoor seating.
Old Town San Diego
There is lots to do in Old Town San Diego! If you decided not to rent a car during your stay, the trolley stops in Old Town and you can take it all the way to The Gaslamp area as well.
Balboa Park
There is plenty to do in Balboa Park! The San Diego Zoo is located here, there are restaurants, museums, trails, the possibilities are endless!
San Diego Zoo
We are annual pass holders for the zoo. This is an amazing place and we enjoy walking around with a cold beer!
Ballest Point Brewery
This is one of our favorite breweries! Try the Grunion (Sasha's Fav) They have multiple locations but this is the closest to our venue.
Sunset Cliffs
Sunset Cliffs has beautiful ocean views and is very close to our venue. It's a place Steve and Sasha like to take Rue for a walk while enjoying the outdoors.
Mission Beach / Belmont Park
Mission Beach is a beautiful beach in between Ocean Beach (OB) and Pacific Beach (PB). Belmont Park has rides, including a wooden roller coaster, games, and restaurants.
Ocean Beach
In Ocean Beach (OB) you and your furry friend can enjoy the sand between your toes. There is a separate Dog Beach for your four legged companion and plenty of dog friendly restaurants in the area.
Cardiff Seaside Market
During the weekends this market makes a lil' something the locals call "Cardiff Crack", a Burgundy Pepper Tri-Tip. As addicting as crack? YES!
