We Eloped!

It was a set-up. Sasha student taught with an amazing music teacher, Stephanie Kapsa, in the winter of 2019 at Janet Berry Elementary School. Funny, Nolan also student taught at Janet Berry but in the winter of 2020! A year apart, with a match-maker between them, saw the stars aligning between the two. Sasha ran into Stephanie at a Professional Development on February 24, 2020. It was the first time the two saw each other since she student taught and made dinner plans to catch up! Meanwhile, a chatty Nolan loved talking with Stephanie during their breaks every day, anytime he could. During these conversations, something clicked with Stephanie. She recalled her and Sasha's discussions about what she was looking for in a guy (of course this was their line of topic to discuss rather than philosophies of teaching), thought Nolan fit the description, and gave her a call! Before you know it, Stephanie was asking Sasha her permission to give Nolan's number and said that he was "soooooo nervous!" Fast forward to 8pm, Monday, March 2, Nolan and Sasha had their first conversation that lasted 3 hours! The rest was history.
