What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:15pm - We would like everyone to be seated by 3:25 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, for both! St. John's Church has a designated parking lot adjacent to it. Each car needs a day parking pass, and we will be handing them out as you drive in. For the reception, follow signs for the winery lodge - banquet and event center, and the gravel parking area is on the right. You will walk down a few stairs and see the entrance to the banquet room.

What is the best way to get to St John's church?

Answer

If you are coming from on Green Valley Road, turn right onto CA-49 S, then take a right onto Brewery St (small street sign next to a pedestrian crossing and across from the "general blacksmithing and horseshoeing historic building"), then a left onto Back St and then you'll veer right and continue straight. You will see the church at the end of the road up a small hill and the parking area will be on the right. If you are coming from Placerville on CA-49N or Cold Springs Rd, continue to drive around the bend taking you into historic Coloma, and then you will take a LEFT onto Brewery St and follow the above directions.

How do we get from the church to Gold Hill Vineyard?

Drive out the way you came to exit on Brewery St, turn right onto CA-49 S, then continue STRAIGHT onto Cold Springs Rd and Gold Hill Vineyard will be on your left in about 1 mile.

Bella Familia pizza truck will be catering. They will serve appetizers, salad, and wood fired pizza (vegetarian and meat options will be available).

Our favorite wines and beers made by Gold Hill winery. We will also have non alcoholic drinks available.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! The reception is indoor/outdoor with the music being outside on the deck, so you may want to bring a jacket as it will cool down at night.
