Maid of Honor
Legend has it, Sasha was such a cute baby that Kirstin's mom decided she needed one of her own. Kirstin has been there for every important life event - good or bad - ever since. There aren't that many people who will hop on a plane to fly to Minnesota in the dead of winter to be there for a doctor's appointment, but that's the kind of friend Kirstin is. From running through sprinklers to running through Sonoma, Kirstin has always been the free spirit that balances Sasha's uptightness. Kirstin is Sasha's favorite person to talk about the future with and Jackson may or may not realize that the two have already committed to living in a commune together one day. Kirstin has been one of the few constants in Sasha's life and there is no one better to be her Maid of Honor!
Best Man
David was happy growing up with a sister, someone who would force him to play dress up and put makeup on, but it wasn't until he was forced to be roommates with Jackson during COVID (in both Savannah and NY) that he realized there was more to life. Through golf, having someone else to blame for turning the TV to football, and someone else for Sasha to focus her love of male fashion on, David realized that maybe Jackson was okay to have around (except when he sleeps through 2 hours of alarms). As an only child Jackson never felt the need for siblings (he had friends...so he claims), but having a brother might be the best part of getting married (obviously second to marrying Sasha).
Bridesmaid
Cray Gray decided that she and Sasha would be friends in college (probably while dancing on a raised surface) and that was that. She has been one of the most dependable people in Sasha's life ever since. Grayson is one of the few people that Sasha can disagree with, maybe even argue with, and still know that their friendship will not change. For that reason, there are very few decisions Sasha makes or situations she navigates without running them by Grayson first. Truth be told, Grayson moving to Savannah and Sasha being close enough to watch her family grow was probably one of the best things that ever happened to Sasha's sanity.
Groomsman
Sina is the type of person who will show up in London to be your +1 to the Royal Ascot and also come back to the house with three boxes of wings from the dining hall so you don't have to socialize with anyone else for 24 hours. He's the type of person that everyone immediately wants to be best friends with but unfortunately for them that role is already filled (we think Jackson would crack his Myspace Top 8). A friendship that began as fraternity brothers at Baylor, has lasted multiple trips across the the world, and even included a stint of Sina following Jackson to Duke for grad school (even if Sina won't admit it). Just look for the groomsman that makes you think "that guy looks pretty cool" and you'll have found Sina.
Bridesmaid
Sasha has been looking up to her cooler, hotter cousin her whole life. From dressing like her, to acting like her - actually, to this day, what little game Sasha has comes from imitating Jenna. Jenna's ability to so perfectly navigate the craziness of being a Greenberg girl has inspired Sasha in more ways than she can count. Jenna set the example that taught Sasha how to voice her opinion and stand her ground and is a huge part of forming Sasha's views on what family really means. Sasha is who she is because Jenna is who she is.
Groomsman
If there is one word that describes Dylan it's loyal. Dylan and Jackson met as pledge brothers at Baylor and once they realized they were an unstoppable tandem on the beer pong table the loyalty to being each others teammate was unbreakable. We're positive there are other, more endearing, stories we could add here about being roommates in college, or how over the years Jackson has continued to admire Dylan's resolve and character as he became a husband and father - but that didn't seem as fun as letting everyone know there is a standing invitation for anyone who would like to lose a quick beer pong match.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey is engaged to become Sasha's Sister-In-Law, but she has been a member of the fam for years! Kelsey was only 12 when Sasha met her and Sasha was there to give her advice when she first started talking to boys. Fast-forward a couple years and Kelsey started dating Sasha's brother, David, and the rest is history. While Sasha's advice for Kelsey may have changed over the years, Kelsey's ability to laugh at herself and entertain others has not. Sasha is beyond excited to be gaining a sister that has already brought so many great memories to her life.
Groomsman
To say Trevor helped both Sasha and Jackson survive law school would definitely be an overstatement. To say Trevor made it a heck of a lot more fun would be one of the understatements of the century. Trevor was "going live" on Snapchat before going live on a social media platform was a thing. Over the years, Sasha and Jackson argued about who Trevor was better friends with, or who Trevor liked more, but given which side of the isle he's on, it's probably safe to say Jackson won (Sasha still objects).
Bridesmaid
Sasha told Caroline that she was having a hard time writing a description for her because everything she wrote sounded bitchy and Caroline responded, "that sounds perfect!" Sasha and Caroline first met in high school, when Sasha recruited (i.e. forced) her to join the dance Company at her mom's studio. They have been judging people together ever since. Yes, it sounds bitchy - and ok, sometimes it was. But the reality is that Caroline and Sasha went through so many insane situations together where Caroline saying "you're not crazy, I see it too," made all the difference. They have grown so much since then (really Caroline has grown and Sasha has mostly stayed exactly the same) and Sasha is so grateful that their friendship has grown with them.
Groomsman
Eric is Jackson's unofficial older brother (by one year) - from playing lacrosse together and spending most holidays at the Newman household (even without an official invitation) Eric took the role of being an influencer seriously. Eric had such a profound influence on Jackson's life that he even convinced him that he should join Eric's basement band (we weren't good enough to play in the garage) and that Jackson should be the lead singer... Jackson can't sing. Luckily Spotify wasn't a thing and we're pretty sure no recordings are still around.
Bridesmaid
Sasha is not an easy person to live with, but Elizabeth has managed to do it for more years than we can count. They met in college, where Elizabeth was probably the only other person who was down to debate politics, religion, and ethical dilemmas while taking shots, and where the duo somehow manipulated UGA graduation so they could sit together. From screaming at Dominos to deliver pizza the night before Sasha's LSATs to grabbing drinks at the Four to celebrate her first legal "win", Elizabeth has celebrated Sasha's career more than anyone (besides maybe Jackson), and Elizabeth's career has been one of Sasha's biggest inspirations.
Groomsman
Jackson's unofficial younger brother (by one year) - in typical younger-brother fashion, Bret didn't really like Jackson, probably because he was friends with Eric. Maybe it was playing lacrosse, or Jackson joining the band (see Eric's bio), or Bret just realizing that Jackson wasn't going anywhere that Bret started to come around to being friends with Jackson. While Jackson inserted himself as the unofficial middle child, his friendship with Bret allowed him to still crash holidays for another year after Eric left for college.
Junior Bridesmaid
Sasha is not allowed to have favorite students, or so they tell her, but Brooklynn has always been an exception. Brooklynn started dancing with Sasha when she was 12, and she has made Sasha a better teacher ever since. When Sasha has had a bad day, or struggled to remember her own steps, Brooklynn was always by her side. She always seemed to understand Sasha's vision in a way that no one else could and Sasha will forever be grateful for the years they've spent together.
Junior Groomsman
Some people might assume that Jackson is the life of the party, but those who know, know that it is really Andre. It is literally impossible to be around Andre and not have a great time. He is one of the few dancers that has always gotten Sasha's vibe, whether she was going for drama or channeling Sasha Fierce. He has never met a dance floor he couldn't own, which is why he is predictably slaying at Joffrey and proving himself to be the rockstar that Sasha always knew he would be!
Junior Bridesmaid
It has been such a long time, that it is hard to remember - but we think Lilybeth was 3 years old when Sasha first met her. Obviously, she was the sassiest 3 year old who ever lived. Actually, nothing has really changed in that regard. To say that Sasha has enjoyed watching LB grow up into the literal rockstar she is today, is an understatement. Sasha has taught a lot of dancers over the years, but none have given her a run for her money the way Lilybeth has.
Junior Groomsman
Nicholas has been an honorary member of Sasha's family for more years than we can count. In fact, he has spent so much time with her that she sometimes worries that she's rubbing off on him a bit too much - cue the love for fine dining and the witty comebacks. Watching Nick grow into the dancer and the person that he is today has been one of the highlights of Sasha's teaching career and she is so excited for the insanely bright future that is ahead of him.
Junior Bridesmaid
Sasha has known Hannah for years, but Jackson will tell you that he is actually her #1 fan. Hannah was Jackson's first introduction to the wild world of competitive dance and he perfected the art of the pre-performance pep-talk with her help. We have lost track of how many trips we have taken to cheer on Hannah from the sidelines - Christmas in Nashville, summer in New York, studying for the bar in Orlando - and we are honored that Hannah agreed to be on our sidelines for our wedding. Fortunately, she will be cheering from a distance as she prepares for her first show as a Radio City Rockette!
Officiant
When Sasha started working, she had no idea that she would be fortunate enough to work with a literal legend. Justice Leah Ward Sears has been one of her greatest mentors ever since. She has been there to answer Sasha's questions about navigating a legal career and, more importantly, how to navigate adulting. She is one of Sasha's go-to people for advice of any kind and has been critical to shaping her outlook on the world. As Jackson puts it, it is hard to think of anyone that garners more respect or who is more perfect to officiate their wedding.
