FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our celebration will be Formal Attire (Black Tie Optional). Gentlemen may wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie or bow tie, and ladies may choose a long gown or an elegant cocktail dress. We invite everyone to embrace the autumn season with rich, elegant tones (navy, emerald, burgundy, plum, black, brown). We kindly ask guests to avoid white, cream, or beige so the grooms may stand out in their ivory tuxedos.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully) both the ceremony & reception will be outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately.

Question

When should I book my tent?

Answer

Please book your tent before the end of January 2026. You’ll find everything you need under the “Travel” tab on our website, including the booking link and more information about staying overnight at Whispering Springs.

Question

What should I pack if I’m staying overnight?

Answer

No need to bring much — the tents are fully equipped with comfortable beds, electricity, and private showers or baths. Breakfast will be available for purchase the next morning on-site.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We’ve arranged a shuttle bus for guests traveling from Toronto to Whispering Springs on the day of the wedding, with a return trip the following morning. If you'd like to join the shuttle, please visit the “Travel” page for details and sign-up. Prefer to drive yourself? There is free parking available on-site at the venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited overnight accommodations, we’re only able to host guests who are formally invited. If you’ve received a plus one, their name will be clearly included in the subject line of your email invitation. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only the guests explicitly named in the invitation attend.

Question

I'd love to give a speech for the groom — how do I go about it?

Answer

We’d be honoured! If you’re planning to give a speech to the groom on our special day, please reach out directly to one of the grooms in advance to coordinate. Since our wedding will bring together guests from different countries and languages, we want to make sure your words can be shared in a way everyone can enjoy and understand. Merci, gracias, thank you!
