It’s amazing what can happen when two people swipe right! We met for our first date a few years ago at Arbella, a craft cocktail lounge in Chicago. It was a pleasant surprise how freely the conversation and laughs flowed. That night we soon realized that we shared a love of travel, sailing, and the great outdoors. Over the next month, we went on several dates and both began to realize this could be something special.

After a whirlwind of travel across the globe, 2020 led us to take a trip closer to home. Our first day in California, standing on a picturesque bluff in Marin Highlands, Brian got down on one knee and proposed. Sasha, of course, said yes! What followed was a magical sunset and a wonderful week in San Francisco, Carmel, and Napa Valley.
