Because portions of the celebration at Crane Estate will take place outdoors,
we wanted to share a few helpful planning notes so you can be comfortable
all evening long.

Lawn & Footwear
Answer
Parts of cocktail hour will take place on grass. We recommend block heels, wedges, dressy flats, or heel protectors if you prefer stilettos. The lawn is manicured but soft, and narrow heels may sink into the turf.

Being on the North Shore means we’re close to the water, and early May evenings can feel cooler than you might expect. Consider bringing a light wrap or jacket for later in the evening.

Transportation
Answer
Following the ceremony, transportation will be provided from the hotels within our room blocks to the Crane Estate. Shuttles will depart promptly from our hotels at 5:00pm. Two rounds of shuttles will return to Cambridge: one at 11pm, and one at midnight.
