Sasha and Chad met in November 2019 at an Amazon warehouse when she transferred back to a NJ site after spending the previous year and a half in Florida. Despite being on opposite schedules, Chad made it a point to introduce himself to the newbie, and Sasha knew there was an instantaneous spark (some may call it love at first sight). After a few weeks of obvious banter, Sasha found a way to get Chad's number when she started laughing at a meme in the office and he asked her to send it to him. They started casually texting that night but since Chad is vehemently against iPhones, the green bubbles got on Sasha's nerves so she quickly added him on Snapchat to continue the conversation. Chad tried to play it cool by waiting a whole five minutes before adding her back and the texts started flowing. Messages quickly turned into hour long phone calls in the middle of the night, learning about the things they had in common and their hopes for the future, quickly realizing a lot of their plans were one in the same. In January of 2020, Sasha left Amazon and the two could finally explore their relationship outside the office. After a few official dates, Chad called Sasha his girlfriend at the infamous Hamilton Inn in Jersey City sometime that February. A few weeks later, the pandemic hit and Sasha invited Chad to spend what she thought would be a just few weeks at her place but Chad hasn't gone home since. While navigating the unknowns together, they quickly realized that they had each found their better half. In October of 2021, Chad tricked Sasha into believing that they were helping set up one of his best friend's proposals, but ended up getting down on one knee at Liberty State Park. After calling all of their closest friends and family, Chad took Sasha back to Hamilton Inn, where he could officially call her his fiancé.
