I said yes!!!!!! Everyone's favorite question is, "Were you surprised on the day of the proposal? Yes i was, but did i know it was coming, Kind of. LOL .Its just a different feeling i had leading up to the month of January. Every time I talked to Andree it was like he was trying to confirm are you sure this is all of your crazy before i ask you to marry me ! LOL .For weeks I had in my mind to do my nails ! If you know me, you know i can be a tom boy and then do a complete switch and step into girly mode. Fast forwarding to now the best part of it all is knowing I found the right man for me, the one I will spend the rest life with. My partner in crime, my rock, a man that my father would approve of, if he were alive, was so important to me and is the best feeling in the world.9/15/19!

Jan 4,2019 was a night that changed my life. I finally proposed to my soon to be wife. As nerve racking as it was, I’m glad I made my decision to carry forth with my plans. And eagerly waiting September 15, 2019, to make Sascha officially mine. And to be the best rock that I can be for her. As Sascha is the other half of me that I don’t always express or show. She’s brings the light to the room, and makes everyone feel welcomed and involved. She’s definitely is my compliment.

Sam is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. She brings life wherever she goes and so many people can attest to that. Before I knew I liked Andree she told me when he comes around, the whites to my eyes would show and I would act different. LOL. Our friendship Is so important to me because we are sisters before we are friends, and as only children we have always been there for each other’s as if we were siblings. She gets my humor and I get hers even though most of the time we can’t hear the joke because we can’t stop laughing. Her history with Andree and I go back far, as she knew both of us before we knew each other. Her energy is always positive, and her loyalty is matchless!

Upon moving to my third congregation which was Forest Hills, Lydell was one to take me under his wing. It didn’t take long for me to warm up to him. Any time there was an event coming up for the congregation he would let me know, or even if it was just to go play basketball with the brothers or his family. He was always the support I needed as an older spiritual brother. I was able to talk to him about anything and he would calmly and patiently bring things to my attention or just be a listening ear. He was also the first to tell me that I was pretty boy, he always has jokes lol. He never changed on me. Now he’s branching himself out to extend his love to Sascha. Him and his Wife Shamika have been a great support to Sascha and I as we are dating and have tried to set a good example for us.

Chanel is that friend we can make eye contact and read each other’s minds, its pretty sick when I come to think about it , It doesn’t take much to make us both happy . Her and I went on the most memorable trips of my life when we went to Jamaica a few years ago. The island hasn’t been the same since, Lol. Her and I can be like sisters but like bros too . We can play basketball all night with the guys, talk sports and music, we understand each others families and with her I know I have a real sister. We don’t hold back when we are around each other and like the other girls in the squad we know how to have a good time, but Chanel knows how to bring me back to myself like a true friend if I am down or being a diva. I love her for that. I wouldn’t trade her for anything in the world!!!

Many people come up to us asking if we are brothers being we “look a like”, although we are cousins...we are still brothers. Despite age, he is still full of wisdom and spiritual advice. But don’t let that fool you, he still has his adventurous wild side, as his picture shows lol. But he uses that crazy wild side to bring the family together, and make sure we all have fun. It’s nice to have someone so family oriented around. What I really appreciated is when ever Sascha and I needed a chaperone he would volunteer his time. He is one of the few people we would trust to actually be around Sascha and I as we needed to talk and work things out and wedding plan. He's seen Sascha and I grow together to see our good, bad but never judging us, and always adding his advice to help us, when needed.

Jade has the best smile and biggest dimples In the world. Behind it exists love, mischievousness and a good time waiting to happen. When I think of Jade I think of the auntie of our crew. She would make sandwiches for our annual conventions and assemblies and pack herself roast beef , and prepare bologna for the rest of us and have the nerve to ask us to carry her huge tote bags full of beauty supplies and snacks into the assembly so she could run to the bathroom and curl her hair. Lol. With Jade I know i can crawl into her bed and she can crawl into mine at anytime for a nap or for a venting session. She is a sister to me and the evolution of our friendship despite changes in our lives is special, especially being we found love around the same time and are getting married months apart.

It’s funny I would always see him around, but we never really said hello, just always smirked, nodded and kept it pushing. But one day we were actually introduced to each other at Terrance’s (a mutual friends) graduation. For whatever reason we instantly started joking each other. From there we were tight. We ended up at Forest Hills congregation together, we’re he also took me under his wing as a spiritual uncle. Taking me all over the place from different states, to food restaurants. Another one of my partners in crimes, he understands my dark and crazy humor. I can always be myself around him. Whether if I’m expressing myself and end up crying or telling him about the best parts of my life. Now he’s part of the family.

Kiara has a big heart, I met her threw Samantha and I'm happy I did. She is one of the most if not the most talented and artistic friends I know. You can hear her laugh from a block away , and shes not shy when it comes to laughing at anything, I love people who don’t take themselves to seriously and this is Definitely Kiara. Kiara loves to send 5 minute voice memos through the phone, it’s the laziest but most easy way to communicate, and she has everyone on board with this. If She asks me about my day or I ask her about hers,:a real heartfelt genuine response is to be expected. On the flip side she has been extremely supportive of my relationship with Andree and my continued journey to becoming more fit. I'm so excited to have her as part of the squad.

People always fail to remember or believe that Devon is actually my uncle! Probably because we are always together on some adventure. He may be my uncle but we grew up as brothers. Never calling him uncle but just Devon. Little do people know but Devon is a character as well, where ever we go people attract to Devon lol. There’s never a silent moment when Devon is around, he would say something that would instantly change the atmosphere and get people laughing, whether they really understood what he said or just laughing with him lol.

Eden Is my little cousin but more like my little sister. She is only 12 but her personality is already developing into something special. Its all interesting how timing works out because at 12 years old i was the Junior Bridesmaid in her parents wedding !!! Family is so important to Eden and she gets that from her dad and her grandmother. She loves fashion , going to the mall and making sure I am at every family event even more so since Andree and I have been together. Lol. All my friends love her because she has great energy and knows how to roll with the big girls!

My first interaction with Ethan was at a skating rink about two years ago. I remember watching this young kid trying to stand straight up on skates with Bambi legs as Sascha, pretty much dragged him around lol. It was hard to watch so I decided to help out and take him for awhile to let Sascha skate and get a break. Although it was awkward because I didn’t know Ethan at the time, i was still determined to teach him how to stand up on his own and push himself. And yes, I did also use that opportunity to skate along aside Sascha to work my charm lol. Little did we know some time later, Ethan was first of few to welcome me in the family. Still to this day I still have fun with him.

I knew Gabby since she was pretty much born. She lived right down the street from me, so it made things easier to baby sit her when need be. I’m proud to see the beautiful transformation from her birth, to the spiritual young sister she is now. To see her grow from a baby, to a young lady who has her own personality is pretty funny lol. So I’m honored to have her share in our special day as our flower girl!
