We met while rotating at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital. If anyone knows the groom they would not be surprised to know that our first conversations were about food! Right after hurricane Maria (while we were without power) Andres would share his unlimited phone internet so I could study, while I shared the power so he could charge his phone. Clearly, this was a match made in heaven!

Andrés told me he had a cute date planned while we were on vacation in Puerto Rico as an early anniversary celebration. This was on Dec 23, 2021. Of course, the morning of said date I wake up and test positive for COVID. He insisted that we could at least go to dinner since it was outdoors. We had a raft waiting for us at the San Juan Bay, along with flowers and champagne. Our friends cheered from the coast (while social distancing of course!) while Andres was praying for the ring not to fall in the water!
