Ronda

Ronda is a mountaintop city in Spain’s Malaga province that’s set dramatically above a deep gorge. This gorge separates the city’s circa-15th-century new town from its old town, dating to Moorish rule. Puente Nuevo, a stone bridge spanning the gorge, has a lookout offering views. New town’s Plaza de Toros, a legendary 18th-century bullring, is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

Nerja is a resort town along southern Spain's Costa del Sol. Its seafront promenade, Balcón de Europa, tops a promontory with views of the Mediterranean and surrounding mountains. Below it lie sandy beaches and cliffside coves. Cueva de Nerja, a nearby cavern with unusual stalactites and stalagmites, hosts popular summertime concerts. It's also known for its paleolithic paintings, viewable by guided tour.

Córdoba is a city in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia, and the capital of the province of Córdoba. It was an important Roman city and a major Islamic center in the Middle Ages. It’s best known for La Mezquita, an immense mosque dating from 784 A.D., featuring a columned prayer hall and older Byzantine mosaics. After it became a Catholic church in 1236, a Renaissance-style nave was added in the 17th century.

Through its gardens, its palaces, its towers and its doors you will be able to transport yourself to a time of great splendor and connect with a civilization that left its mark on the city in a decisive way to become what it is today.

Gibraltar

Gibraltar

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland, on Spain's south coast. It’s dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, a 426m-high limestone ridge. First settled by the Moors in the Middle Ages and later ruled by Spain, the outpost was ceded to the British in 1713. Layers of fortifications include the remains of a 14th-century Moorish Castle and the 18th century Great Siege Tunnels, which were expanded in WWII. You'll need your passport if you choose to visit Gibraltar!

Malaga is best known for its most famous son – artist and sculpturist Pablo Picasso. Art lovers can spend hours inside interesting museums and galleries, while those looking to rekindle a passion for natural landscapes will find a contrast of gardens and rocky canyons to delve into. Must sees in Malaga include the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso museum, and the Cathedral de la Encarnacion.

Fuengirola

Fuengirola is a town on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, known for its sandy beaches. South of the city center, the medieval Moorish Sohail Castle towers over the coastline, and hosts concerts, festivals and a medieval market in summer. Adjacent to the Plaza de Toros bullring is Bioparc Fuengirola, a naturalistic zoo featuring a re-created jungle clearing and animals from Asia and Africa. Our favorite restaurant in Fuengirola is Casa Colon! They don't take reservations so go early! The wait is worth it! Make sure you get the tuna tataki, you won't regret it!

Benahavís is a Spanish town and municipality in the province of Malaga. It is mountain village between Marbella, Estepona, and Ronda, 7 kilometers from the coast. The Guadalmina river is a fun place to take a dip on a hot day! Our favorite places to eat there are Los Abanicos or La Taverna Fantastica!

The Marbella old town is our favorite place to go for churros, shopping, walking around the narrow cobblestone streets, taking pictures with the colorful pots, and visiting the church we'll be getting married in!

Puerto Banús

Puerto Banús, is a marina located in the area of Nueva Andalucía, to the southwest of Marbella, Spain on the Costa del Sol. It was built in May 1970 by José Banús, a local property developer, as a luxury marina and shopping complex. Alex's favorite pizza place "Picasso" is a popular dining option!
