Even though our love story starts overs drinks at the Marina del Rey Hotel in April of 2019, it felt like we could have known each other our whole lives. We had so much in common and only lived a couple of miles from each other, but we were on completely different paths. That is until a little bit of luck (shoutout to Bumble) and a few margaritas brought us together. Over the course of delicious meals, family get-togethers, endless corny jokes, and a lot of laughs, our relationship continued to grow. We have bonded over the excitement we get from trying new restaurants, a shared love of early 2000s hip-hop and our passion for travel. Although the pandemic changed our daily lives and postponed many things we would have loved to experience as a couple, we found that spending quality time just the two of us only brought us closer and deepened our connection. Almost two years after our first date, on what was disguised as a birthday trip to Palm Springs for Amy, Michael surprised her by proposing at the beautiful La Quinta Resort. Michael had been secretly planning every detail for months and included both our families in on this happy moment. Since then, we have been very fortunate to feel so much love and support from all our family and friends, those who mean the most to us.
