It was a picturesque March day in Baltimore County. Taylor was at Maggie's house and Kyle at Ben's house. Maggie and Ben decided to arrange a hangout amongst the four of them, so the boys picked the girls up and they snuck onto a local turf field for some lacrosse. Taylor was attracted to Kyle's sense of humor, his well-loved yellow and red Nikes, and his effortless ability to make fun of Maggie. Kyle was drawn to Taylor's smile and willingness to act like a complete goofball in front of someone she just met. Later, Taylor made the first move and asked Kyle to be her Facebook friend. It was a true high school romance with the two of them "just talking" for nearly three months. After finally braving a date without their wingmen and spending an entire movie just talking and laughing ... they decided to make things "official."

Kyle clearly could not get enough of Taylor's ~sick~ lacrosse skills and decided to follow her to St. Mary's College of Maryland where she would play the next four years. There, the two of them grew into their own as they made lifelong friendships and ~equally~ excelled in the classroom. After graduating, they packed up the green Honda Element and took a 34 day trip driving across the United States. Surviving this trip with limited access to showers and comfortable beds meant the two of them could survive anything! Traveling would become their new favorite activity! After being delayed by COVID, they made two big international trips within one year to Mexico City and Italy. At this point they had been together for 13 years and Taylor had a feeling the proposal was coming.... When the moment finally came and despite Kyle's best efforts at romanticism, Taylor had a few clues that ruined the element of surprise. Nonetheless, the proposal was nothing short of perfect overlooking a sunset in the beautiful city of Firenze! After essentially growing up alongside each other, the day has finally come to make this thing official-official. See you in Baltimore Summer of 2024! Go Birds!
