Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Kellam Estate in Virginia Beach, VA and will be outdoor.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are requesting a cocktail dress code. For example, ladies should wear knee-length, tea-length, or midi dresses or a jump suit, while gentlemen should wear a suit. Fun colors and patterns are encouraged! The entire day will be spent outside on the lawn so keep that in mind for shoe choice.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Virginia weather is unpredictable! We are hoping for sunny with a light breeze. There is a generous amount of shade on the property. The rain plan is tents and umbrellas. Please check weather apps closer to the date.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be a 16+ only event. We appreciate you making prior arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. For our out of town guests, please reach out to Alyssa or Jack if you need help arranging childcare.

Will there be parking and can I leave my car overnight at the venue?

Answer

There is parking on-site. Valets will be running the car line, please bring cash to tip if you feel inclined. Cars may be left overnight however, they must be retrieved the next morning.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professional photographers to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
