We're Getting Married!

December 31st, 2015 - New Year's Eve block party in downtown Hampton, Virginia. Donna went with her younger brother, Brian, and her cousin, Jeremy. Joe went with a Navy buddy, Tim. While Joe was waiting in line for an overpriced beer, Donna commented to her cousin that she liked that stranger's face. Jeremy dared her to say something to him, egging her on saying that she wouldn't. Donna said, "Challenge Accepted." Joe commented to his friend that he wasn't entirely sure but thought that cute girl was checking him out. Joe stepped away from the block party while Donna waited patiently, definitely *not* like a stalker, for him to return. When he finally did, Donna introduced herself. Shortly after, Jeremy came up to the two of them, as they were talking about the new Star Wars movie (that Joe had yet to see) - to which Jeremy immediately blurted out that *Spoiler Alert* Han Solo dies. Two days later, they went to see an obnoxiously long (BUT good) Tarintino movie and went back to Joe's apartment to drink way too much wine and make Chicken Cordon Bleu together. 8 months later, the two of them (and her cat, Sally) drove 3,000 miles to Joe's home state of Oregon and the rest is history!
